Meet under the pines by Windang Surf Club. A count that is part of the national “Shorebirds 2020” Programme that will include: Windang Estuary, Why Juck Bay, Purry Burry Point. Bring morning tea, sunscreen, and hat, wear enclosed shoes.



Saturday 6th January Budderoo

Meet at 8.00amthe car park for Budderoo Fire Trail approx. 2.6km past the turn-off toBarren Grounds along Jamberoo Mountain Road. This car park is approximately 200metres along a dirt road. After the 60 km/h bends on Jamberoo Mountain Road thespeed goes back to 80km/h and you go up a slight hill. At the top is a dirt pull-off marked with two signs Budderoo Plateau and Budderoo National Park this is where the dirt road to access the track begins. Bring carry morning tea, hat, sunscreenand plenty water for the day.

January Tallawarra

8.00 am Meet on Yallah Bay Road which leads to the Energy Australia Tallawarra Power Station. This is only accessible from the Princes Highway southbound from Dapto. If coming from the south you need to take the first Dapto exit and turn right onto the Princes Highway - Yallah Bay Road is second left after this turn. Park on the left-hand- side of Yallah Bay Road about 300 metres from the
turn-off opposite gate 37. Bring morning tea, hat and sunscreen, plenty of water for the day,and wear enclosed shoes.

An atlas survey of this IB adopted site, about 2 hrs duration. Meet at the oval car park at the end of the Tennis Court Entrance on Croome Road, Albion Park Rail. Bring morning tea, hat, sun screen and wear sturdy enclosed shoes.
